Founded in 2017 by a group of volunteer educators, Genç STEM Association has made it its mission to contribute to the National Technology Initiative by creating a modern educational environment that fosters students' personal and academic development in light of technological, scientific, and academic advancements. Since 2014, the Genç STEM team has played a founding role in the establishment of four Science Centers, set up STEM workshops in more than 10 schools in Şanlıurfa, supported the establishment of STEM workshops and centers in various cities, and implemented nearly 30 educational projects.

The Genç STEM team first began STEM education in 2014 by opening workshops at Karaköprü Middle School and Yenişehir Public Education Center in Şanlıurfa. In 2016, the founding team of the association established the “Urfa STEM and Science Center” under the Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education, bringing significant value to the country. It conducted Turkey’s first MEB-approved basic and advanced STEM training programs.

Since its establishment, Genç STEM Association has collaborated on projects such as “Genç Maker STEM” with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, “Genç Engineers” with the Ministry of Interior’s Department of Associations, “Artificial Intelligence and Astrophysics” with the U.S. Embassy, and “Girls in STEM” with the Australian Embassy. Having initiated various projects both in Şanlıurfa and nationwide, Genç STEM recently carried out the pioneering “Artificial Intelligence for Children” project in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Harran University.

Genç STEM Association currently provides education in coding, software development, astronomy, STEM, 3D modeling and innovation, Drama Techniques in Education, and Orienteering.

Genç STEM, in a well-equipped and distinguished environment, enables young people—the future of our country—to push the boundaries of their imagination and become producers. By prioritizing national and moral values, it continues to be a source of pride beyond the borders of our country.
